About Me

Hi, my name is Mehtab Khan. A lot of my childhood sparked my curiosity for tech-related things.

I started learning about computers when I was little, and usually, everything starts with playing video games. In my case, though, it was not all about entertainment but the magic behind it intrigued me. I was so hooked on just how the thing called a computer worked and learned about CDs and DVDs and also the differences between them. I had this old PC at home, with which I would spend much time trying to understand how all the pieces came together.

That curiosity soon converted to a more serious interest. The world of technology was starting to take on meaning; besides games or gadgets, it involved creation, solving problems, and impacting society. I had known since my childhood that I wanted to work as a software engineer, and it was that dream from my childhood which led me toward engineering.

The intensity of engineering helped me understand the 'power' of technology much more clearly: to work on solving problems and eventually building up a solution on top of that. My whole life, I have always sought to understand not just how things work but how they can be used to change the world for better.

From my early experiences with technology to my current focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence, my goal has always been to apply what I learn to solve real-world problems. For me, technology isn't just about doing new things; it's about finding solutions that will make an impact, whether it's in education, sustainability, or whatever the case may be where there's an opportunity.

As I continue to explore the endless possibilities that technology has to offer, my aim is to push boundaries and pursue bigger challenges. I'm excited about the future, eager to further my knowledge, and determined to contribute to advancements that can make a difference in the world. Beyond academia and work, I have an outdoor fascination with hiking, trying out new recipes, and doing some photography. These things offer me quiet moments, times of recharge, and fresh perspectives, which I return with to my work.

    My Journey Into Entrepreneurship

    My entrepreneurial journey began with a simple observation: there was a gap between traditional education and the rapidly evolving needs of today's learners. Growing up in a small town in India, I witnessed firsthand how limited access to quality education could impact dreams and aspirations.

    This realization, combined with my background in technology and passion for innovation, led me to co-found MindShift. What started as a small initiative to help fellow students has grown into a platform that's transforming how we think about education.

    Along the way, I've learned that entrepreneurship isn't just about building businesses – it's about solving real problems and creating value for society.
